Fuel surcharge increases

Checked Baggage Charges
Several air carriers have recently adopted policies of charging an additional amount for any checked baggage. This is in addition to the fare already paid by the passenger. Please contact your airline or refer to it’s website for detailed information regarding your airline's checked baggage policies.

Fuel surcharge increases
In an effort to offset rising fuel expenses, many airlines have recently announced ticket surcharges related to rising fuel costs resulting in increases on airfare. We may see more of this activity in the future as other carriers follow suit and with the continued fluctuation of oil prices. Classic Vacations® offers customers protection against these fare increases by giving them the opportunity to pay for their existing airfare in full. Existing reservations not paid in full are subject to the fuel surcharge increases and resulting increases in airfare. Ticketing will avoid future increases due to fuel surcharges, as airlines do not always give advanced notice of these additional costs. Classic Vacations protection programs do not cover fuel-related fees. Therefore payment for airfare in full is strongly recommended to avoid fare increases. All reservations, even those which are ticketed and paid in full, may be subject to government tax increases without notice which will be collected by the airline directly.
